I bought 16x7 wheels for slicks; what size?

I found a new pair of 16x7 wheels in our bolt pattern for 140 shipped from DTD.

I want to put either 26 9.5 16 QTP slicks on them or a 225 50 16 DR. What do you all recommend and other sizes I am not aware of? Also do you buy compounds or tire prep products for the track?

I chose 16" so I dont have to screw with the brakes.

If you're serious about having wheels separately for track usage, get slicks. Most tracks prep, but if not, just make sure you get them heated up pretty good.

which are the QTP??? lol

I just bought some like maybe 2 days ago...exact same size that you're talking about c130. They're hoosiers part #17320

I don't think you can get actual slicks with 16inch wheels. Well atleast that's what I was told

Now I remember which the QTP are lol. Yeah I skidded away from those because I don't wanna have to mess with having to get a tube and what not

Dont need a tube. Rim screws and sealant

I didn't look into the qtps enough to get more info on them. I'm fine with the dot radials since im not pushing that much power

You screw the tires to the rims with a sealant so it doesn't leak. No need for tubes. Tubes suck
