"I think thats the fastest cobalt..." :D

Well I got back from the track today....

I hit my 13's!!!! I am so happy. The dude at the cecil county dragway that announces stuff said "Well I think thats the fastest Cobalt SS thats ever been here" I was so proud. My 60 foot is actually slower then the last time I was there running 14's and still pulled almost a .20 off of that. I think I had the bolts on my torque brace backwards maybe it effected my car some how. This was my first run of the night! I even had over a half a tank of gas with normal tire pressure! Stock tires too.

Once I get my header and CAB's I will be hitting 13.5's easy I hope.

My clutch still beasting it. Has never slipped yet no matter how hard I run that thing. I mean what Ive been to the dyno twice, Track atleast 5-6 times, and run my car pretty hard durring normal driving and its still holding like a champ When it does go though Stage 2 CM clutch w/ flywheel here I come

Great job man I never thought the GM staged kits would MPH like that . Judging by your 60 ft , you have a 13.5 in your car how it sits

I bet it is slipping and you dont notice it. If you were to dyno, then change the clutch, then dyno again in the same day your tq. and HP #'s go up. WHy cause in measures at the wheels and sliping will be a drivetrain loss from the crank to your wheels.

Ask others or your performance shop. they will tell you the same thing.

Can you clarify your sig, for13.86 at 104.90 MPH

250.2HP @ 6500RPM's and 217 TQ @ 4750RPM's before Stage 1 and 2.
Injen CAI, Magnaflow Catback, GM Stage 1 & 2, Ingalls torque Brace, DC sports Strut bar,

Your mods were done and you had this power or this is the power before you did the modes. The wording has me a little confused.

Good job!!! Us SS guys need to get our 60's below 2.4 2.3's and get it down to 2.0 2.1's. FWD=Sucky launches. I mean look at that, almost 105mph. That's a good mid 13 second run in a rwd car. Awd would be like low 13's with that trap speed.

Thanks, I probably wont go back again until I have my header and CAB's. IM content now being able to say "I drive a 13 second car " I experienced alot of wheel hop on that one, and apparently the TQ brace cant clean it all up. If the CAB's are as angelic as people say they are then I think that will help quite a bit in getting my 60 foot down hence bring my 1/4 down. My bro has a header on me and he gained about as much from his header as I did from my exuast which in a 40-100 race would have been 1/2-1 car difference. I dont know what that would bring me to in the 1/4 mile but it surely wont hurt.
