Interest thread for srt-4 VS cobalt day at E-town
yeah that was that kid from LI that works at some chevy dealership.... damn can't remember the name of the place now, but it was the one with the horrible multi color cobalt ss for 32g's
how bout make divisions.
its obvious a 500 srt-4 is gonna win against a car like mine granted he dosnt take a dump off the light.
make things fair for both car clubs.

This looks like it has the potential to get pretty damn big. I'll make the trip down next season Paul
The only thing this should tell any Cobalt owner is they need to step up their game. Both the Cobalt and SRT are pretty close in stock form but the SRT guys have really stepped up and are doing some sick **** with those cars. Either way bracket racing will even the field and hopefully make for some good friendly competition.

Yeah, gonna be tough for us to really compete with built SRT's when the majority of the guys I have seen are going with bolt-ons and many don't do the appropriate supporting mods to get the most out of those performance mods...
Bracket racing would be cool, I've never done it, but there's a first for everything. lol

its so funny cuz us guys in Canada were gonna do soemthing like this next year, thing is we have lots of srt-4s around here too, some stock, mild, and wild, some of them come to hang with us at our meets and what not, good bunch of guys.
we have a huge cruise on sunday called the c7 cruise, we just pretty much drive around with fellow car clubs following the provided route we are given, we have 23 balts so far, tied with the srtforums, 2 of the biggest car clubs in ontario will be cruising together, now paul, if you want i bet i can get a ass load of balts and a **** load of srt's to come down granted the location chosen is not a kazzillion miles away from where we are at

I wheel hop like a bitch there on stock suspension/tires and CAB's. With fear that I'll snap a driveshaft, in 5 runs I haven't been able to break out of the mid 14's. It's scary!
Then again, I have zero experience w/ a FWD at the track and pull 2.5/2.6 60's...

I hear ya man, this is my first FWD car myself, well that I've actually raced. E-town is more axle friendly due to lack of prep work. Atco is just like a damn strip of glue and **** is done in one run
Just once, I want to run on a track like I can run on the street. It would be nice to actually see a low 13 on the board, which would be easy if I could launch this thing...
That's kinda why I want to run at e-town, the elevation and track here kill my spirits...kinda like the mustang dyno at TTP...
