I have an 05 Cobalt SS/SC and im having trouble with finding a good way to launch. I know that there is a right way and a wrong way considering 14.xx 1/4 mile times even for bone stock cobalts....i know that someone had mentioned a sticky at the top of this forum but i cant find it......Thanks in advance for any help

That's my personal method of launching (described in the how-to), but everyone has their own method. It just takes a lot of trial and error and plenty of practice. You'll get there, believe me!

 

i basically do what tofu does... except i launch at 2grand not 1.5

hold the revs at 2.. lift off clutch until the engagement point.. and then i let off the clutch while smoothly giving it gas and then shift like a banchee

 

pretty much with those guys. Give a lil gas and ease off the clutch ones it gets traction grip it and rip it.
