First Time at Dragway with the balt

Went to Cecil county dragway last night, first time drag racing at the track,
First Run was 16.1 @84.5 60' 2.55
Then I let some air out the tires and took the air filter out
Second Run was 15.64 @ 89.? 60' 2.3
I'll scan the slips and pics when I get home from class. My second run was against a yellow C5 with a Linginfelter body kit, I was funny to hear some of the reactions cause everyone was waiting for the C5 to run, and then i lined up next to him, and i could hear people saying whats the cobalt think hes gonna do, LOL

There is a thread with slips posted in it. It wasn't the only 15 run he had either.

wow, i ran a 15.6 with my 5-spd maxima i did not think a base cobalt would come close to hangin with it, you'd probably smoke the maxipad if my gf was driving it.

I was there for the 16.1 run. He also used my tire presure gauge to let air out and he showed me his air filter out. I missed his run but it wouldnt surprise me. I would really like to see the slips too as 15.6 is very nasty for a 2.2. My 2.4 SE-R auto ran like 16.8 lol.

Congrats on the time, and your Yellow LT looked just as good as that yellow Vette LOL.
