congrats he pulled 1.7's stock as well. no biggie, i drove the car ONE time at the track and cut a 1.76. its a prepped track but he uses the exact same launching technique on the street car hooks just as well. 5 speed, all weathers

 

This video if deff not BS. I was expecting a better race than that really. That car was broken in aswell. So no green motor BS here. And even with bad launches, he trap was like 8mph slower

 

Just slow i guess?? I do shift preatty good, but from 1-2 I can't slap it in like I can do with the other gears for some reason...

 

depending on their tire situation it can be easy to spin through first.. on my 2.4 ion with the stock hancooks with the least bit of condensation on the road I get no traction... even if i totally let off the throttle and then ease back in just skid.. hell the other day I punched it after it rained when i was racing someone and i got ridiculous wheel hop all the way through first, then shifting into second just was spinning for a bit... that being said my tires have always blown... I want to get new tires asap... when there's any amount of moisture on the road i can't trust it to do anything...

it does seem odd considering they're AWD but if they're tires were kinda crappy i can see how it would be possible depending on how they launched..

I am telling the truth when i seen the wrx spin in 1st again the track was crap, it was still wet and I know what i saw, I mean i was the surprised one, maybe he redlined and dumped the clutch on slippery track, maybe he was more than stock. Not sure, to call BS when you are not there is a rush to judgment. Anyways the point was the car will run much better times on a different day at a different track. The cars were running like 1 sec slower than they should, not some, but most. RSX type S running high 15's, wrx's in high 14's to 15's, stangs with drag radials running high 14's, come on guys i think we can agree that these cars should run much faster than that. High humidity, bad traction equal poor 1/4 mile times. martinSMU was one of the faster cars at the track that day. I feel confident saying he should be able to run mid to high 13's with his mods. And a great kill on that MS3.

 

how the hell am i supposed to know what size tires he runs? they are the stock all weather tires. sorry i have more of a life than memorizing tire sizes on random cars.

You just answered my question. Another STi owner from CA recently got banned (I think) and your join date just so happened to line up w/ his supposed banning. Sorry for the confusion.
