Ninja Got His Cherry Popped....
i went to the dragstrip for the first time last night
but it wasnt a full 1/4 mile it was only an 1/8th. i lost all but once and what sucks is i would start pulling on the other car and what do you know its over...
but here is one of my time slips and i was curious to what you guys think i would be running at a full 1/4 mile. my buddy says im in the 12's but im thinking mid to high 13's.
Reacation - 1.219 <- working on that
60 ft - 2.406
MPH - 78.26
ET - 9.524

I hate to **** on your sunny day, but I think your 1/4 mile times would be quite a bit higher than 13s
I beleive well-driven 2.2s get about 9.5 in the 1/8, correct me if i'm wrong
Edit: NVM 2.2s get around 9.9
-------------------------------------------------------
Tofu with an 8.8 second 1/8 mile ran 13.6 in the quarter to put it in perspective.
I'd say 9.5 would be in the mid 14's
------------------------------------------------------
Sethallen got a 14.3 in the quarter with a 9.41 second eighth

i tried a bunch of different styles.
i tried
no spinning the tires before i went out there
2k launches
flatpunching it <- when i did this it feels as if the car hessistates and then takes off
burn outs and then tried both ^ of these.
my fastest recation time of the night was .995 but in that one i ran 9.704

Everybody seems to have their own sweet spot . Ive gotten pretty good at getting 2.0-2.teen 60's on radials launching off idle , dumping the cluch and qwickly easing in the throttle ....theres no room for error though
Congrats on getting another one to replace the wrecked one . Were u able to find another g85 car ?
Reaction doesnt make much of a difference other then looking better going down the track.
I ran a 12.3 with a 4 second reaction time waiting for a car to line up beside me but I didnt know I was running solo...hahah I look up and the light is green, at about 1 second. So I reved and launched normally, since there was like an hour wait until I'd get to run again...
Better 60' will definitely help and probably a little quicker shifting, although thats hard to tell without the back half of the numbers...
