So my buddy has an 03 svt focus muffler delete spec 2 clutch and flywheel aem cai stock around 170 175hp is it normal that my base ls with just a tsudo catback and air box resonator mod, that i can beat him in a 1/4 run??? i know the 2.2 has low end torque but didnt think that would be possible

 

that doesnt seem right...i thought SVT's had more nuts than that

 

yeah i know but guess good news for me

after like 100 once im in 5th he can walk by me but even from a forty roll its pretty close

 

The FOcus SVTs that I have seen at the track run 15.6-15.9, so depending on how well you two drive, it is very possible.

yeah hes a pretty sloppy shifter; he always comments on how speedy i shift so idk

 

Plus, aren't the SVT's heavier because they are hatchbacks?
