So last night I went to the track...
1st run, 14.1 (Me vs STi)
2nd run, 13.9 (Me vs STi)
3rd run, 14.2 (Me vs LS2 GTO)
4th run, 14.5(with fiance in the car) (Me vs 2.2L Cobalt)
3rd and 4th run was bullshit. I do a nice burnout, get those tires nice and sticky...then they made me wait. (for 2+ min) while they sweeped up the track on the other side...so all I did was spin.
My buddy in his STi has a Turbo Back Exhaust, and a Cold Air Intake. Other than that hes stock. First run he did a 14.5, 2nd he ran a 14.9, 3rd run he ran a 15.1(lol), 4th run, he ran a 13.6
The track prep was not the greatest at all. Since on the same track a month ago i ran 13.5
However, trannies going in a week or so, so im gonna pump her up to 290whp until my injectors and whatnot comes, then i'll be at 350whp.

yeah, track prep has alot to do with it. Thats why with my boost issue i still ran a 13.9 which my best has been a 13.7 but its all good. just look for a not so humid or hot day to run adn youll get those good times.
We were literally side by side 9/10s of the way down, i kept lookin at him, he kept looking at me..he shifted then pulled by at most, 1/2 a car....so id guesstimate a 14.1 but his trap was also 104 vs my 98
That GTO beat me by @ most, .1 (they didnt show the times, just the speed)

I do the burnouts simply to clean the crap off my tires. I was running 25psi of air, plus there was some ******* who broke his car in the staging lanes(from revving it trying to show off) and was spewin out coolant & oil, and we had to drive through it.
which was a huge factor as to why they had alot of delays.
He was laughin at me in the pits...but he was rockin a helmet...and i didnt wanna put mine on until they told me i had too.
but we both launched really well, i pulled on him for about the first 1/2 the track, then he started nudgin up on me...only to beat me by about 1/2 a car.

What were you runnin for tire pressure? thats the most commn thing people dont check. I run 13-15 at the track on street tires and it hooks up good. NVM i see you were at 25 nect time go a little lower
Didnt want to go too low since i had a 45mile drive to go back home.
However, I will buy me an air pump, and drop them down to 15 and try that.
