But I thought i would give it a try. Me and a friend decided to take my car on a side road to show him what I did to my car and I reset my trip ometer friend timed with a watch we went and told him to stop timing about a sec. after it turned 000.2 miles and came out to between 13-14 secs. Now I know this is not a good way to judge your 1/4 mile time. But I figured ahh what the hell I havent got to go to the track yet. Would be nice to se mid 13's in at this elevation. but who knows. just kinda fun to try it out.
he chris when ever you do go to the track pm me i havent ever been to the one in amarillo and i really would like to see what my ss/sc will put down at a track to so when ever you want to go send me a pm i would like to join in on that fun!!
ill be in amarillo this saturday well ill be in river road for a while and i might bring my car and try going to the track o and im going to have to bring my car in again
the new gauges that i got last time dont read right when im doing 75 on the highway the gauges read 105
lol
But yea they are open from 5-12 on sat. and $20.00 to race all u want
yeah last time when we talked for a little bit the reason i had it in was because my gauges were really messed up and way off my tach was always on like 8K so i took it in and they said they had to replace the whole cluster and it worked for about 2 days and then it started to read wrong again
dang 20 thats not bad if i can get away from the party im going!!!! ive never been to the drag strip in town where is it at?

Sorry for the late post. You can pick one up at Advanced Auto atleast that is where I got mine. I bought the SS which is $200 since I was going to be loading the info on my computer there was no need to spend an extra $100 for the RR.
Like I said if your on a flat road it is very accurate, I used it at the drag strip and it was right on the money. Most roads will be .1-.2 +/- since most roads will have a slight dip hill to them.
It will still give you a pretty good idea on where you're at.
