there was a small 1/8th mile list we had going several months ago. Could that be transfered to this list?

only other suggestion i would make for the links is make the letters bold so people can see that there is a link there, kind of blends, only reason i seen the link is because i knew it was there

Looking good so far. And hatrickstu, I don't think anyone is ever going to beat your Stage 2 time. I think you hold that record for a while.

Well, most (if not all) slips have 1/8th mile times and mph, so I don't see why not. I think everyone should also be put on there too.

I have an '89 IROC w/ a 305 so don't take this the wrong way but i don't know that it would make your cobalt much faster. lol

OK, my uncle's cobalt ran a 6.29 eighth mile last weekend. I have video on https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/drag-racing-52/ok-i-guess-now-ss-116534/. but i won't have the video of the 6.29 passes until tonight. What does this car fall under? SBC, no power adder, single carb, drag slicks? Just over a year ago it was a stock black 4cyl Cobalt.

I will have the timeslips soon, and video tonight.

Not even an unlimited class? One that blends all of the classes to show the fastest on the site, not just 2.2 or 2.4.

13.223 @114.6 mph
stupid car wouldn't go into 3rd gear.

well i mean if there is really nothing cobalt about it then why would we? im not trying to be rude, but we might as well throw the pro stock cars on here too then. i love your uncles car, but the "cobalt" part of it pretty much stops after the body work. sweet freaking car though

Oh, I know.

But yes, it would. TPI = TORQUE. Not much else, but believe me, it'll move.

Now the cost benefits...aren't there...

Really nothing cobalt about it? your car started out the same car his did. He just went further. Is the motor the only problem you have with it not being in here, or is it because it is faster than yours? No disrespect, but i've seen you really talk up your e.t.s and they truly are great for what you are working with. But since you are the only one saying anything negative so far i assume you are just mad that there will be a faster car on this board.

The only thing not cobalt about this car is drivetrain and suspension, and some minor body work. It's got carpet, factory doorpanels w/ power windows, all factory glass, factory dash, and much more.

calm down man. swapping to a rwd V8 with absolutely no stock drivetrain components plays a tad bit of a role in my opinion. i love the car and love the fact you share it with us, but its not even powered by a cobalt motor. if we are goign by what you say we should allow prostock cars in here too, hell they use alot of exterior stuff off cobalts...

hes a tad faster than me too, think i just dont want him on there because im jealous?

Basically, dude, they're just wanting to keep this list to confined to stock-configuration (I4, FWD) vehicles.

I am fine with this being for I4 FWD cobalts. I just hadn't heard that yet. Sorry hatrickstu, all i saw was that all of a sudden there was a level of mods that made ours not qualify. If it doesn't, it doesn't, but i'll still like seeing how fast you can get these cars.
