I will be there too, I want to try and hit 14.6-14.7 without adding more mods. I am then looking at getting tires, full exhaust, STS, and maybe a tune to try and hit 14 flat.

yeah the fastest stock 2.4 runs up there, but that is kind of a far drive for most of the people that run at MIR

Well with all the **** in my sig, summer tires, stock clutch that i have to bitch shift from 1st to 2nd or it slips, im hoping for something in the 13s. Im going to speed unlimited to buy the 100% meth **** and mix my own. Hopefully that will help

what do you mean by minors? under 18? You do get to drive at 16. They really don't check anything at tech. as long as your car isn't falling apart and you don't act like a ******* they will sign you off and you can run.

not bad. I am looking to hit another 14 second pass or more with no new mods. But I still have the stock tires on. So this year I am looking at getting full exhaust and tires at least; maybe a tune.

yeah mir treats their track very good, i have the same problem with my clutch at mir lol
ilovecars- yeah you will be able to get in, they will probably ask you to see your license, like they do me every time lol

 

i dont have a full drivers liscnse. its still a provisional license does that work?

I went to capitol when i was still 17 and they wouldnt let me run. I went to MIR the week after and they let me run. Im 18 now so fuuuuccckkk iiittttt

NotME at least come down and pay to run make one or two passes and or shift easy. if your clutch goes then you can get a better one



as for MIR itself I am sure the track will be super set up. Last time I went when I ran in the 14s I was nearly dropping the clutch in first at 3K and not spinning, hopping or anything.

that is the way to look at it.

 

awesome my friends gave me some advice rears all the way up. fronts to about 25 and hold the clutch right before it grabs try to stage first etc.
