That's me!! First time I ever made a pass on a dragstrip in my life. Man was I proud of myself.

 

What mods did you have when you ran that time? I am going to get to the track within a month, will be my first time ever too. I am hoping to hit 13s, high 13s of course.

I am hoping with the stage 2, stage 3 pulley, dryflow airbox mod, gm exhaust, ingalls, and new tires I hope I can pull high 13s. That too much to ask?

I saw that but I wasn't sure if he had those when he ran. Seems a little high to have all that and only get a 13.9. Then again he said it was his first pass ever, I just wanted to make sure. If he did have those there is no way in hell I will run a high 13.

Yea, those were my winter rims/tires. My car is capable of a mid-low 13 by the usual run from people posting times. I'm not sure waht to expect tho as I have the best time of any cobalt at the track here in Dayton. Most stock ss/sc's here are 15.0-14.6. FYI, there is another member form the area with same mods (has 2.6, 60's, gutted cat, diff tires) and best of 14.4. I honestly think the track could be better.

Well the track I am going to has a "100 mph Club" and they post the fastest cars online and rank them in categories. aka - sport compact, bike, atv... There is a cobalt on there that went 100.75 mph. It does not post the ET just trap speed. I am hoping to atleast make it on there, hopefully 102ish mph maybe and I would love to get into the 13s. I guess it is all in the launch.

 

see my sig. to see what I did 13.9 with. GMS2 basically nothing much else. my best trap was 102.5mph. were at 1000 ft above see level. hope that helps. I have no idea how fast I am now. need more seat time to tune. later

 

The elevation at the track I am going to is 632. With my mods I hope 13s are not out of the question. I know under 14 you need a helmet so I guess I should take one of those along.

test and tune is this sat and 9 of us are going (7 are ss/sc, most modded a few stock). Should be a great time.
