If this is ur first time take a lil time and watch the other racers. Then when u feel ur ready to go for ur first pass, get in line, don't do a burnout just pull up and stage. On your first pass launch as if u r leaving a red light on the street and get a feel for it. Slowly work ur launch up n rpm every time u make a pass.

with out engine mounts ,i wouldn't launch the car at all, high rpm roll out while slipping the clutch.
thies cars wheel hop like the end of days. and your 1-2 is the key, when going into 2nd dont slam it, you have to be off the gas alittle as you pop the clutch or your just light up 2nd gear and have the worst 330' time.
iv gotten my launch down but cant nail that damn 1-2. i get 2.2 60's with 6.7 330s its the only thing keeping me joining the 13sec club.

thanks guys. i had a lot of fun and i do plan on getting more practice in. its funny cuz those were actually my first 2 passes of the night. everything after that was in the 15s. i look forward to getting a few mods done and dropping those times some.
you may have been heat soaking on your later passes, were you letting the car cool down between passes? you should definitely let it cool down some between each pass, these cars hate the heat, so the more you run it the slower you will get...
