did a 50 roll (shitty spot for me ) he got the jump on me (1 car) .. i reeled him in .. shifted to 4th... (clutch slippage NOOOO)

he put a little on me again because of that i reeled him in again and by 115 my broken side mirror was at the back of his passenger door :badgrin:

the ss/tc will probably say no.. but the trailing car said we were neck and neck lol

so yes .. with him NLS 2-3 and not 3-4 and me slipping between 3-4 lol and him getting a jump we ended up with him nosing me out

50 roll me in 3rd him in 2nd he jumps on me i reel him in .. he NLS's i granny shift and clutch slip.. i start to reel him in again.. let off at 115 with me next to him

i want to run him at the track or at least from a 40 roll so we're in both of eachothers sweet spots lol and not just his lol

 

slightly faster then someone who left off

 

we both let off at pretty much the same time lol i let off a second later lol

not to mention that doesnt change the fact I was reeling you in lol

I am not saying you can't win but how can you say your faster than a ss/tc when you were down by about a half car(mirror-door). If your car can't harness the power you have then you got work to do. So it would be better to say if I got my clutch fixed I may have beaten a ss/tc. Ether way good run, get that clutch fixed and give those stockers hell!

i had a lil run w/ el mariachi (turbo 2.2) on our way to vegas in 3rd gear and we pulled pretty evenly.... i pulled slightly ahead because i rolled into the throttle first, but he had better gearing in 3rd(around 3k for me) so he took the lead until i pulled around him at the end of 3rd, then he shifed before me which opened the gap a lil more... i let off in 4th just about a car ahead, but i was pretty surprised by that thing.

 

haha no he raced the ss/tc after and edged him out.. but i'm sure wog probably let off for that one too and I made a mistake about where 50 is in third it's about 3k.. still not where you want to be ..

iwanted to get vidz but i forgot my SD card so i only had 16 seconds to record RAWR

And a well conditioned VR4 3000GT can run 13's with ease, so I wouldnt say too much about beating one. Now if its the non-VR4 than you should have no problems at all.

it was a vr4 i think sorry it being in the wrong section i rarely post races because i dont have a camera .. maybe i can run him again tonight i have my memory card so if we run i can get it on video

 

yea i wouldnt even classify a 3000gt and a vr4 as the same car, I seriously doubt it was a vr-4.

speed mafia performance is developing a kit for the Maf setup cars and i'm the tester they have the brackets made for the balt it's just a matter of making a setup for the piping if anyone is interested let me know .. i'm sure he'll be willing to work with the balt helper
