Ran a new PB today

My mods are in my sig. Last trip to the track was last year when I ran a best of 13.6 at 104 mph. Since then, I added a TTR upper mount. I also removed the passenger seat on this trip, as well as the spare/jack. The weather was perfect at 60 degrees, no wind, no humidity. The pass in the vid is a 13.5 at 105 with a 2.1 60'. I tried to get a shot of the slip, but it didn't work. The last pass of the day was the best I've ran so far with the car. It was 13.4 at 106, 2.2 60'. The 1/8th was a 8.8 at 83 mph. I was very pleased. The guy I'm talking to in the vid is my cousin in his 96 Cobra. He also pulled off a 13.4 at the end of the day on a 1.99 60' at 103 mph.

Thanks fellas. I'm not sure if it was the weather, the slight weight reduction (passenger seat/spare tire), the TTR mount, practice, or a combination of everything that helped the car pick up 2 tenths and 2 mph over last year. The clutch didn't slip today either, which I'm sure had a big impact.

Not a real one, lol. You would of seen the tint peel off the windows if it had of been real!

Honestly, it helped the wheel hop a good bit on the street, but at the track yesterday I was still wheel hopping pretty bad. It does seem to be getting more torque to the ground and the engine isn't rocking back and forth anymore. The two reasons I got it were 1. to help wheel hop, which it didn't really, but honestly you're supposed to run trans mounts with it for it to work (they have been ordered and I'll report back) and 2. to control engine movement, mainly to save my downpipe, get more power to the ground, better shifts, etc (it did all of number 2). Its worth it, just make sure you do poly trans mounts as well.

Goodyear F1s, stock size, stock wheels. They do surprising well.
