I was gonna post that there was a 2.7 m62 there with us having horrible hop issues I told him what to do to get rid of it. Even with too much air in my slicks I didn't hop at all

Woot! Low 12's here it comes! I cant imagine what a 1.7 60' would feel like in these cars. Hell my friends can barely cut a 1.7-1.8 in their modded evo's and sti's, but our track isnt known to have the best prep on street car days, and they usually dont let us run in the grooves

8k wont do ya any good but make noise if your cams wont make power there

While id agree to an extent I literally shifted 20 feet from the traps. I guarantee ill be faster staying in 3rd if it was a long stretch then id say fourth would be better

7400

i may raise it to 7500 but its gonna be a guessing game about hitting the limiter or traps first lol

nice passes man. Good to see someone making progress this year. Love to see these deep 12sec passes on a blower and not turbo.

As do I, but for me to max out the power on stock internals with TVS I'd need methanol, full 3" exhaust, LS4 tb, 3" intake, smaller pulley, and probably a front mount h/e. easily another grand in parts, on top of what I already have into it. And I'd only get about 350whp.

I'm not tryin to knock what you're doing, It takes alot of skill, and those times are awesome.

I'm only going for peak power/tq not track times. The car never sees the track anymore. I was breaking too much **** tryin to go fast, and 13.7@109 wasn't impressing anyone.

Yea i hear where ur coming from man. I'm almost at the limit on stock internals. I'm really gonna give her hell next Saturday to get into the 11s. The 12.4 was my first time out on the new setup with full street trim and on a 93 octane tune with meth. This week I'm gonna do a race gas tune weight reduction spoiler is coming off and have a few more tricks up my sleeve. The slicks just started coming in really good at the end too. Found the best pressures to run them at is between 10-12psi. A lot of the 10second import guys helped me with that since it was my first time on slicks. Once I achieve my goals and get bored with the setup I too may go turbo or consider a stroker motor as well.

Its alright man you can say it, actually i will for you.

Its a shame most of these drivers in their high hp LNF cars cant put down better times than the LSJ. Pretty sad actually.
