S256ET timeslips?

I have been searching to see what the potential of a S256ET turbo swapped LSJ\LNF is on pump gas. I can't really find what I am looking for.

I would like to see timeslips of a Cobalt with the swap done but the majority of them run E85. I ask this question because I plan on getting this swap but don't plan on running E85. Are 11's plausible or am I dreaming?

I have seen dyno slips but I don't want to be a bench racer. I would like to see real results.

That is my plan but am I dreaming when I say I would like to hit 11's with that setup and pump gas? I just want to know what to expect. When I see these cars on E85 having trouble it worries me because I ask myself if it is worth getting the kit.

It's possible on pump gas my trap speed is 115 that's good for a 11 second pass. I need a drag radial or slicks and a wot box and it's doable. got to learn the launch out and the 60ft times are what makes it possible

I am going to get the setup either way because I sold my entire supercharger setup but I don't want to run high 12's when I could've kept my TVS and netted that. That is all I am getting at. It would be nice to have a thread to inform people about the possibilities.

I know there is a Drag thread.

Did you trap 115 on the same boost level you made 413whp on?

No i trapped 115 at 19-20 psi the aem gauge goes back and fourth when i glance at it quickly cuz i got to watch the road. at the boost level I'm at 380 and 350. least that's what my dyno chart showed when I got it dyno'd when I first installed it on a base ZZP can tune with the kit.

What kills my time is my 60ft times the turbo don't hit as quick as a stock k04 does nor when i was supercharged i was pulling 2.0 60ft on street tires haha

I was thinking of running 1 bar daily because you don't need 26-27 PSI on the street. I plan on grinding my calipers down so I can run a pair of 15" slicks. Hopefully I could net a 1.8-1.9 60ft.

MP Cobalt, do you have any videos?

Im on e85 so my slips prob wont matter. But on pump gas I would say 11's are very possible. You would deff have to use the WOT box for your launch so you can net those good 60fts, and no-lift shifting could take off almost a sec on your times. Also the main thing you would need for those 11's are a good set of drag slicks.

Ok that makes more sense now. Its interesting seeing the trap speed differences between blower cars and turbo cars with similar power. And no I'm not a blower fanboy, I mean I like my TVS, but next year its turbo swap time

The OP is not going to be running E85. He was just trying to find slips with more similar mods to his set up. Running E85 instead of 93 makes a huge difference in what power level the car can have.

Thank, that is exactly why I asked the question. I haven't bought the setup yet because I have to save for it first. If it helps any, I will be porting and polishing my head. I will set the rev limiter at like 7,600 because I will be using stock cams. I can also stay in the gear longer which should help me out.

I am pretty excited to get this setup. That sounds wicked. I've got some people that I need to race, at the track of course.

I have the zzp s256et running on 94 pump gas and i ran a 12.91 at 122 with a 2.4 60 foot. If i cut a 1.7 or 1.9 60 then i'd easily be deep in the 11s. It was on 26psi and put down 430whpish 360wtqish. Timing was low, turbo has way more in it.

I saw that on OCC but I couldn't find the thread again. Kevin tuned you, right? He will be doing my car again. I like him, really nice and really smart. However, that fatass at the Dyno is an idiot, not Paul, I really like him too. Very helpful

He offended me and a friend. Don't care for his attitude at all. He is the type of guy that thinks his **** don't stink. Anyway, enough of that guy. Paul went out of his way to try and get my methanol to work, I get along with him really well. I thought you had a set of slicks. I saw a set for sale off a Tc in the classifieds. Hopefully you and I can line up. It would be a heck of a race. LSJ vs LNF. I don't have G85 though...
