If you dont mind the steelie look , you could use some 04-up malibu 15" steelies on slicks . Theres alot of 15 sizes for slicks . Any 04-06 Malibu , Saturn L-series or G6 wheels will fit our cars . So for a couple rims should be mega cheap .

I also very interested in Slicks for my SS/SC. This car has a rough time off the line, and i would think you could get a 13.9 or better out of the car with slick... in stock form.

If the 15" steelies will fit than Bogart Racing Wheels should be able to make a set that will fit. The advantages are 10-12lb wheels (depending on width) vs however much the steelies weigh (20+ ???).

I have a contact at Bogart if anyone is interested, but likely they'll need to be the billet centered wheels running about $400 each. If Bogart can do it with the non-billet centered wheels it'll be closer to $200 each.

how on earth do you get a 15 inch rim to fit over the large disk brakes?

15" requires you to grind a little bit of material off the calipers.

16" will fit with no problem.

If you're looking for OEM 15 or 16" wheels you just need ones that are 5x110 bolt pattern and IIRC any GM OEM FWD offset will work (I don't think the RWD Sky/Solstice wheels will work without some spacers if I'm remembering correctly).
