Some 1st time tuned 2.2l times...

my 2.2l rana 15.45 im pretty damned happy with that hahahaha -
also my first time to the track ever...
My mods:
ebay intake w/ aem dryflow filter
clear image 4-2-1 header
clear image high flow DP
stock lsj exhaust piping w/o resonator
magnaflow 2.5" canister straight flow muffler
ss/sc springs
firehawd GT tires
TUNE

im running on royal purple oil, 92 octane fuel, and i took EVERYTHING out of the trunk lol
Tires were at about 25psi and It was about 36deg outside but sunny

during the 3rd run i tried riding the top end of 3rd to see if i could save time by not shifting (debate between a freind and i on how long before the 1/4 it was...if it was close enough riding right bellow rev limiter could have made it faster then wasting time on the shift.....)
it did NOT work lol
On my fastest run...#2, i accidently bounced the rev limiter w/ 2 pops shifting into third and again into 4th....so it could have been faster...

Vids to come later....
comments are accepted...but please...keep from the "my sc is faster"...because we all know that...you have a blower...congrats..we know
my 4 runs were:

run 1:
R/t .123
60' 2.495
330' 6.655
1/8 10.105
MPH 71.45
1000' 13.064
1/4 15.754
MPH 89.67

2nd run:
R/t .197
60' 2.357
330' 6.5
1/8 9.96
MPH 71.45
1000' 12.913
1/4 15.424
MPH 89.48

Run 3:
R/t .065
60' 2.56
330' 6.809
1/8 10.289
MPH 70.90
1000' 13.262
1/4 15.832
MPH 86.70

Run 4:
R/t .229
60' 2.428
330' 6.687
1/8 10.165
MPH 70.92
1000' 13.139
1/4 15.660
MPH 89.25

there is DEF room to improve...with a 2.4 mani and some more practice i hope to maybe hit the low 15s...maybe with some finess and some suggestions i can break into the 14s..who knows lol...might take a bit more..but who knows.

You should hurry to the track to get those better times before summer. There is a huge difference between the power you make at 36F and 85F.

yeah you wont pull those times in warmer weather

still not bad though, you can still squeeze a tenth or 2 out of her...i'd give u a 15.2@90mph with some good driving in 36 degree weather

Jesus Tom, the right pedal makes you go

You need to work on your launches...

Get the Poly mounts...Mel will love to ride in your car then

definitely awesome times. With that trap speed, and yours too xm15, you guys should definitely be in the high 14's. Just need better 60fts. Congrats though!
