nice runs man. Finally someone with a cutout! how do you like it and do you notice a performance increase or is it just noise? what are your trap speeds with it closed and then with it open? where did you place it in your exhaust? before or after the cat? sorry for the questions, it's just I've been wanting to do this for some time now and I've read nothing but bad things about it on the redline forums.
Yes there are gain. About 2mph. Its after my stock resonator dumping out right under my door. I don't have a cat, but it would be after it. It pretty much uses the good part of the stock exhaust catback and leaves out the muffler and the tight spots.
The one against the s2k is with it closed.
It grows on you. It's a very different sound. Menacing and super loud in person. It doesn't have a tone, just motor, It sounds like a race car.
And when I don't feel like setting off car alarms, scaring everything living around and scaring people off the road (actually happened) I can close it.
You may never like it but unless you hear it in person I guess you will never know.
