Nice time, get that 60' down and your quarter times will get much better. It's said that for every tenth off your 60' is good for 2 tenths off your quarter mile time..

Just to give you some input.. My 08 TBSS ran 13.5 bone stock at 102mph with a 2.0 60'...MEANING...Your MPH is showing the potential, and once you get that 60' down, your quarter time will too...Still a damn nice run though, now get to modding that beast. lol

Nice run and not too bad for the sixty-foot times if you're on the stock Conti's. What track was it at and what were the weather/track conditions like?

Should have said SS TC, that really threw me off, lol.

But in that case, man those are great times!

The track was castrol raceway in edmonton, alberta, canada. It was in good shape, weather was about 15 degrees out. And to whoever asked yes it says 9.2 at the 1/8th

I was running basically identical times as that with my "stage 2" sc. My mods are 42# injectors, 3" pulley, stage 2 tune, and airbox mod. I ran a 14.04 with a 2.27 60' at 104.12 mph. Weather was about 65degrees and track elevation was around 900 feet.

Nice times!

Hey Darcy,
Here is the numbers from a stock Sky Redline that I ran on Friday night in Portland....kinda proves out what they are saying about the 60ft times.

60' 1.935

1/8 8.925
MPH 77.41

1/4 14.075
MPH 95.14

Not too shabby for a 100% stock LNF with an automatic! (stock tune and 30PSI in all 4 stock tires)
The second 1/8 the auto trans really dogs the car...maybe the ragtop does not help as well.

Its much much easier to cut 1.9 60ft with a rwd auto.

I totally agree! Ran my SS/Sc the weekend b4 (my first time ever drag racing). The best 60ft was around 2.4. The SS trapped 5mph higher than the Sky. But, .5 seconds slower in the 1/4. Again, was just posting to show how different (and better) the results are with a lower 60ft time. Have fun racing!

Most of my 60fts were around 2.4, this was my only 2.2 and it got me my best time. My goal was to run a 14.0 stock, then start modding. To be honest i didnt think i could do it this quick. This is my first standard car and ive only owned it a month.

That 60' is what's killing ya.. Get that down and you will be in the 13's bone stock, it all shows in your MPH...Every tenth off in the 60' is good for at least 2 tenths in the quarter..
