Exclamation Sub 14's on stock engine

I'm gonna go to the track in a few weeks, cause we have a test n' tune every saturday, to see how low i can go with the stock engine....besides my fart can
so far when i go i'll be running:

255/50/16 Mickey Thompson street radials on 16" wheels
traction control arms
TTR motor mount
TTR trans mounts
Exedy hypersingle stage3
B&M short throw
Stage2 axels
maybe some drag bags for the rear springs
remove rear seats
remove passenger seat
remove spair tire

what do you guys think i'll run?? I race looking in the official 1/4mile thread and people are running low 14's stock, so i'm hoping that maybe, just MAAAYBE, i can hit a 13sec pass with these mods.

and heres a picture of the M/T radials

With drags and weight reduction you should be in the 13s. All that stuff you have listed, you better be mid 13's or lower.

People have cut 14.1, 14.2 on a completely stock car...drags should be good for at least a few tenths off that. Plus weight reduction, yeah, 13s are defintely a possibility. You may need to dump the clutch at a decent rpm to take advantage of that traction, though, but your drivetrain should be up to the task.

I think you'll run mid-high 13's.

stock cars + slicks = mid 13's all day
same car with 75 shot = low 13's

60's+2.7+full exhaust+slicks = low 13's all day
same car with a 50 shot = high 12's

built motor+slicks+125 shot=11.90's

You'd be surprised how much the driver factors into a quick time.

i've made a few "easy" passes in my cousins 89' 5.0 but this will be my first time with the 'balt. and i don't expect to do anything spectacular on my first trip. but i'm just talking about what is possible with this particular setup

dont be shocked if your times are not what you expected....seeing as how it is your first time.

on the plus side, it is good to see your clutch is upgraded and axles, hopefully your tranny doesnt take a **** on your chest...

with those mods, and time to learn the track and how to lanch your car on drags, you can do 13's

best of luck bro.
