test the new setup at the track

I'm goin' to the track(1/8th mile dragstrip) at the end of the month. well my question is "should i run slicks"? think i would break an axle? or anything else? kinda scared.

have you been to a strip before? How much experience do you have? Do you have money set aside in case you do break something?

I'd say just run what you have now...

well what kind of HP/TQ do u make and when?.....slicks are great and really r better then DR's but idk about the ss/sc. I would say yes get the slicks and do not use a WOT box and I bet u will be fine


do u spin in 2nd with a street tire?

not sure how much hp/tq i'm puttin' out. says 258hp with areoforce interceptor set at 80%. i've been to this same track last year. yeah, spinnin' in 2nd gear alot on street tires.

Launch at 2k if your the sc and ease it while getting on it out of the hole. I ran mine at least 60 times down the track last yeah with no issues. Stock tires and DR are going to be tougher on the driveline over slicks.

Should bang a easy mid 13's with your setup depending on elevation and driver.

Slicks are your friend

You will break a ton more **** on Street Tires or Drag Radials
