Yeah I tried to let it cool a good big in between. I had my jumpers on for the fans and IC pump but as cold as it was I don't even think I needed them. I tried to wait at least in between each run.
i was talking about on the warmer days. The track i go to i can get in as many runs as i want like all day so i just let it cool down at least 30 mins between each run.

Well, in between now and May I wanna try and get a DP, Header and H/E. Then see if I can't get a tune sometime. But I'd definitely like to hit up the track again by May, the temps should be about ideal by then.

Well yeah, on the warmer days would be even more important yeah. Oh we could have ran as many times as we wanted up there. I think I ran like 8 times and that was alot on my book. I think Roadrage ran atleast 15 times lol. Hey, he was having fun, thats all that matters.

Sounds good with the mod list, but i will tell you now, there is no room when you try to put that h/e in there. I thought it was a pain in the ass, but it looks good once its in there and helps a lot.

Ha ha, yeah I did. I was letting it cool down at first, and then as I was getting better I got more and more impatient. I was having a blast, dude...lol. And I figured on a cool day like that day I wasn't in much danger of over heating anything.

Yeah, I was looking at it the other day. It's gonna be a tight fit. Roger says he has one from CobaltAddiction he's selling, but somehow he didn't get the mounting hardware. It says on their site that it comes with it, so I don't know how that happened.

I looked at that H/E it was just too damn expensive. I think I had about 130ish maybe in my cobra h/e with all the hardware. And that is probably high. I made my own brackets too btw. I just went to lowes and got a piece of aluminum and bent 2 "L" shapes out of it. Put one screw up in the frame, good to go. I also put foam on the brackets too so it wouldn't be metal to metal.

Yep, I got mine on ebay. I paid a little more than I shoulda so if you shop around I'm sure you could get away with 100-125 with everything you need.

This thread is awesome. Where were you guys last year when I couldn't get anyone to go to the track with me

As for the H/E. I'll give you the full story as short as possible. It is brand new never used. What happen is, a local guy bought one and somehow lost the hardware. He totaled his car and had some mods in his room he never installed. I really wish I would of got the hardware but its the same deal as the cobra H.E. You can just make your own or buy it from that guy on this forum. He has a supercharged GTO, think his name is like ephoanza or something. He wanted like 100 bucks or something shipped for the same hardware as CA gives you. I also got my CF wing and center peices from the guy who totaled his car. He was a guy from MD, met him on the turn pike, handed him the cash and got my mods.

Haha could be. Seriouly man, If I could have gotten traction, I can only imagine the ET I would have had. Oh well, what can ya do. When I got the slip I about **** myself when I saw all these 108 traps. I got back and the guys asked what I ran (only 1 scoreboard was workin). Im like I dont care about the damn ET, I trapped 108! I didn't think it had that good of a top end to do that. I know it always felt stronger in the winter, duh, its colder out, but still. I think the damn thing could do 13.5s if I can get a 2.1-2.2 60' and a sub 9.0 1/8th.

I told you I woulda went I just couldn't the day you were going! Even though we ran shitty times all day we had a blast. From seeing Matts Cummins beat a vette, running 12.99, a different vette pullin wheelies off the line, the drag ranger rolling, it was a crazy ass day I will tell you that.

What sucks is the damn video camera died, said the head got dirty or some ****, so we couldn't get all the runs on tape. The first run of the truck was his first run, he still had his 35s on. And the 2nd the right lane board didn't work so I am not sure what it ran. I think it was a 13.2. He was running them all day with his smaller tires.

yea, you will deff see 13.5's, 13.4's with that trap speed. Hell if u put some drag radials on that bad boy and get a 2.0, 1.9, i wouldnt be surprised of a low 13second balt.

Yeah. I would love to get a set of DRs I just don't go enough to have a point in buying some. Plus I don't want to break anything. I have 16" steelies I have for winter, I'm sure I could fit a 225 DR on them.

Matt told me I should have ran the 16s up there, I'm pretty sure they are lighter than the stock wheels. I have 2 snow tires and 2 all season tires on them. I could have put the snows on the back I guess but I just figured my 18s would grip better than the all seasons I had on the 16s. Hell as bad of traction I got it couldn't have been worse.

dude, if you put some DR/slicks on there, you'd run 12's.

I'm not joking either.

Holy crap! I would be more than happy with a 13.5 at 108ish. I just hope the stock clutch and axles hold up good for a while.

Thats awesome. It must have been the cold weather giving it that good of a top end.
