Traction
Stickier tires would help. And as already mentioned engine mounts will too.
I'm bone stock down to the tires, and my best launches have been from the result of holding my RPM's between 2k-2500k. then slowly letting off the clutch while slowly at first pushing down on the accelerator for like the first 1-3k RPMS in first and then just punching it there after...

honestly i launch 1.5ish rpm just to avoid bog and give it a nice little grip to the pavement before lift off.
50-70% boost in 1st gear helps.
ETC limiting also helps.
ive glazed my clutch a few times "feathering" and i dont suggest it at all. Make sure you drop the clutch in 2nd, dont DD let out the clutch in 2nd during races or you risk a little bit of slip.

OK, I cannot stress this **** enough, if you DONT KNOW WTF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, DON'T POST!!!!
Launch at 6k and feather the clutch out? What the **** kind of drugs did you take?
I've been down the strip with my car enough to know what you can and cannot do.
Launch from 2k. Feather the clutch out (dont dump it, don't slip it, find that nice in between point) and give it a little more gas as you are doing so so the car doesn't bog. Do this in a LINEAR Motion. After the clutch is fully released, go go half throttle and around 4500 to 5k slowly ease into WOT until you are at redline. From there its just banging gears as fast as possible.
That's my routine (on street tires anyway).

I usually launch at 3k depending on the weather and track prep. Feather it out but don't go WOT in first or you will still spin.
If there is incredibly good track prep, I launch around 2k.

I'd say 160 whp on a weaker clutch. The point is, if you know what your doing, this clutch will take it for a quite some time and you won't snap axles. It all comes down to how serious of a quarter mile time you want. Do you want the fastest quarter mile time, or just an average one.

wow 6k launch by feathering wtf, this is where u find out the real drivers yes go for that sweet spot between 2 and 3k and like everyone else says learn your car find out how to get that good launch, also if ur at the track for an all day like test and tune like i was and its not crowded practice if u get a shitty launch dont rag on it down the track ull just get heat soaked and rag on your car for nothing. Get those launches down then go for the all out runs...
