underground racing

i live in cuba, missouri. im thinking about using this guys airport landing strip twice a month for some legal street racing. question is though should i charge like $10 a car and give the guy some money to keep him happy, and should i go through the local 5-0 to make sure it cool?

if it's the guy's property and you're not violating any noise ordinances then the cops can't do anything anyways. and if the guys letting you use his land then i think you should definitely give hims some money.

Overall, i think the whole "underground" racing scene is a little played out...unless your racing in subways...that'd be pretty underground. This just sounds like a bunch of people getting together to race.

I'd never let anyone race on my property. All it takes is for one person to get hurt or killed and all hell breaks loose. LAWSUIT!

underground is also the whole idea of the select few knowing about it. i would charge maybe 5-10 and then give some to the owner for sure. then take the lil cash you kept and put it away for maybe something to do with the races. a grill perhaps?? lol i dunno

Definately give the owner of the property some money for letting you do something of this nature. Keep in mind the condition of the landing strip as well, with X number of cars constantly racing on it, it will cost him money in repair eventually....

Our local airport used to let us run on the airstrip back in the day to keep us off the streets. Then some out of town bums shot some of the runway lights out and blew it for all of us. I would think these days there would be some lawsuit liability
