nope it was an SS, he was just sandbaggging and got caught. I guess he didn't expect the 103 trap speed. The next time we lined up he made sure to get out front first and let me play catch up.

 

I'm pretty sure they made Camaro SS' with the LT1 aswell as the LS1. If it was an LT1 I can see you pulling it, but if it was an LS1, you would lose if he was trying. If he was just dicking around to begin with, his fault and you won.

 

that was a ls1. you can tell because of the headlights. the lt1 has the recessed lights. this one didnt

 

I shoulda know that. I should of went over and talked to him, he lined up against me about 4 times. Its like he was trying to dial in 14.00 for the street legal competition, where I red lighted against a honda prelude who dailed in 13.5........
