Went to Drag strip.

What should my Stock ss/sc run at a 1/4?

I have new shocks/struts. stock 100k mile springs lol. Fujita 3" intake. Vibrant exhaust, and OTTP 4th gen H/E.

First run was terrible. 16.123

Second run 15.37 best time of all of em.

I did however get a .015 R/T on 1 of them lol everyone was impressed on how fast i react.

I seem to only be able to get my 60'ft at 2.5 or more cant get it down.

Lowered my Tire pressure from 40lbs to 32lbs. Bunny hopped alot but tried to feather the clutch/throttle.

Should my car be a mid-high 14's stock. Also my oil needs a change didnt have time that might of cause some sluggish feel.

I belive stock SS/SC is around 14.1-14.6, 14.1 being the record for a stock one, I have mods that should put me in the high 13s, but its just been far too hot and inconsistent track days for me to actually learn to launch my car, my best time was a 14.4 with a broken IC pump

and that was stg2

I did my IC pump less than 20k miles ago. Idk however if i got ALL the air outta my system when installed the H/E. Could i just open that valve on top of the h.e to get it out while its running?

I have no clue what my IAT2's are. i need a guage to show me

is my car ok or broken?

My tires are also Eagle GT's very nice compound all season tire

Only reason i went is to see what this car runs almost stock.

I have no idea, I didn't even know air bubbles were an issue, almost all my coolant got drained when I had my H/E done

Lol at eagle gt's have a nice compound. Cut ur pressure down to like 25 instead of 33. That might help alittle, or just buy some decent tires.

Lol apparently not with your 2.5 60 foots.

If you pulled decent 60 foots you would have been in the 14's.

this is my first time at the strip ever. so i didn't know what to expect.

when they were installed by Ntb they had the tire pressure at 40lbs so yes. Due to have a comfortable driving condition

Huh if you think running 40psi makes it more confortable you should try and run the correct pressure you will think your driving on clouds

OP, if you're getting wheel-hop consistently, stop racing until you get mounts. Wheel hop will snap your axles with a quickness, and you don't want that hell.

like 32-34 pounds i think. 40 will make for a very hard and stiff ride

If it was hot/humid, then your times will suffer (higher DA). Try heading back when its a bit cooler and less humid to see how you do. Try working on that launch to bring the 60' down too.'

Good luck man.

lol your times are not going to suffer that bad because of the heat. i promise his problem was running 40 psi tire pressure at the track causing horrible 60 fts and nasty wheel hop. now hes got some trans mounts and if he runs his tire pressure at around 26 give or take some he will hit good times because he will have alot better 60 fts

Lower your tire pressure to 27psi...rev to 2500-3000rpm and feather the clutch out as u roll onto the gas. If you feel the car wheel hopping...get of the gas right away.
