Went to the track last night...
first run.
problem with the starting lights led to my 1.354 reaction time.
missed 2nd.
ran a 10.2 with a 76.
second run.
wheel hop like a mother.
missed third and let it coast out, ran a 10.6.
but heres my concern.
after my 2nd run my parking brake said it was engaged, and my abs light was on.
i shut the car off and it went away. also my PCM moves front and back alot. is that normal?
i havent had any problems with the car since but should i be concerned.
btw this was my first time at the track and i know i'm a noob so don't bother telling me that haha

I assume by the times that it was an 1/8th drag and you were dumping the clutch and spinning until you hit second.
the ecu will move some in the cradle. if you had any wheel hop at all, I could see where an ABS sensor may have been knocked loose causing the light to trigger.
Don't try to launch like paul walker at 5k rpm. spinning and wheel hops are your enemy.

on the stock tires, i have never had any luck leaving the line any higher that 2000-2300 range. I need to lean on the clutch some and roll into the throttle to even get in the 1.9x 60' playground.
Keep working on it though, finding a good launch on stock tires is like finding a virgin at the avn awards.
