Also I wanted to say I got better 60' times messing around with the tow vehicle- a full size 4x4 suburban was getting consistant 2.3's- you need some work on the launch!

Not sure how your MAPS work but the old two bars would only go to 14.7 PSI and after that you had to use a 3 bar unit off an old Turbo TA to get the calibrations right- I wonder if the GM guy's know why they sell so many of these map sensors .

60' 2.344
330 = 6.29
1/8=9.419
1/8mph=78.00
1000=12.125
1000mph=90.67

1/4=14.3940@99.35mph

60ft=2.312
330=6.437
1/8=9.591@77.58
1000=12.288@91.49

1/4=14.531@101.13

There's your 13's. I assume the reason you had a quicker 60' on the second run is because u used less throttle therefore less wheel hop. Problem is once you hooked up you were goin slower than the first run.

thank you killer...that may explain it.....so in other words, some DR's could really help me a lot, and i really need to work on my launch....not necessarily just my 60', but the first 330'

and iroc, i know what youre saying about a worse 60' and a higher trap, except my 60' was lower, and my trap was higher.

I would not read too much into a mile or two difference- a headwind verses a tailwind could cause this too.
You have to try slicks- once you try them you'll realize your wasting your time without them and you will get way more consistant.

Is your clutch slipping ? When my clutch was going , it was hurting me getting the car moving . In 3rd it would still pull strong and I would still MPH really good .

That would expain your good mph and slo ET too .

If the clutch is slipping, that could be a problem. Usually to get a better 60ft time I stay at idle while staging, and hammer it off the line using the last yellow as my go. I've only been to the track once and I cut 2.2 60' with ease.
