i am curious as to what i should run with my F23. on my Stock 225.45R17's (24.9) i trap 93/94 on the limiter, shiftlight on, sometimes i make it through other times im bouncing at the stripe. i picked up a set of 245/45R17 DRs for cheap. going to try them as it has more outside Dia, yet the hole-shot may not hold up so well. either way i do it for fun right now, but it is always nice to go as fast as possible!
Limiter at then? I ran a 235/45/17 and at 7k rpm I trapped 100 in 3rd. I tried a 4th since I pushing far into 3rd and it killed me

You can run 15" wheels on LSJ brakes after shaving the calipers. I have a setup to run 13" wheels but after the lack of interest in things lol I don't plan on making more than one. And it's the one that's staying on my car.

It's not much at all. Just test fit the wheels and that will tell you have much you need.

I'd say it was about 1/8" I had to grind for 15's....

but like said above......... grind some, test fit wheel...... and so on.

What are cmiller8006s rims and offset? Obviously I am messed. I am an LNF with a 114.3 x 5 and have to search for a cheap 15" rim that will work.

I have a lot of 1/8th mile tracks around where I live, so that is basically all I get to race at. Last year my best time was a 9.3 with multiple 9.4's on street tires. I added a few mods to my car over the winter (header, muffler delete, moved stock heat exchanger out front, and a clutch, but most importantly I bought 24.5" M&H slicks. I went to the track today and I ran constant 9.5 nothing better. On my street tires I can pull a full 1/8th mile without shifting to 3rd, but since my slicks are smaller I have a good 25-30 feet of track left and I have to shift 3rd. The slicks hooked nicely, but I feel like the shorter gears killed me overall. Any comments or feedback, just trying to figure out what to do. I was hoping the slicks would get me in the 8.8 range, but like I said I feel they hurt me overall.

Not trying to be smart but you should read the OP...... you should be running a 23inch slick. Not 24.5"

But that would make the gears even shorter, my thought is in my case is that the extra shift from 2nd to 3rd is killing my overall time.

But at least you would get more time in third with a 23" imo...... but I also don't do 1/8mile.

When are you shifting

Haha I wish I had 1/4 miles trust me it seems to me it would be more fun, closest one to me is about 2 and a half hours. I shift at around 7200. I have the zzp stage 2 canned tune and I think the limiter is at 7300 or 7400

Raise the limiter to 7500. And shift faster.

What's your 60' look like?
