hahaha, i was telling him that i didnt try it out or anything but that it just wont work. itll be like the guys that put an ls4 tb on their lsj, too much airflow and it doesnt want to run right and you actually loose power.
then i told him to try it, y not...might as well someone try it and let us know

LSJ throttle body will be way to much flow for the LE5 HO manifold. The best overall solution would be taking your 2.2 throttle body and tapering it for increased velocity.

I bought a saturnmotorsport that already bigger and soomther. but still run a 1800 rpm at idle

that TB from saturn was very nice cause very response on gaz pedal compare to lsj one. much quicker during shifting. overall nice part but.....

the key is too much response for daily driving...that car will buck like crazy unless you floor it cause teh airflow will be turblant, slow, and uneven

i got beaten by a stock 2.2 eco in a cavy last weekend...i was usin nitrous...the car was totaly empty....the guy cut everything he could cut...but it worked.....

i personnaly thing that weight reduct is one of the best mod to do on a car before going to the track

we did on a mustang that did 1.43 60' instead of the 1.66 60' before of the WR...

at a point....if you need to cut to get some .xxx sec....do it...if it makes you go faster....than just do it...i dont really think than cutting the hood frame is really dangerous...if ever cutting to some place that will be dangerous for the stability, or braking...its maybe too much....

i cutted all the framing on a toyota tercel hood to install a top mount intercooler on a 4EFTE and the hood is still rigid enough when it's open...on a crash test, wouldn't affect at all...

i think you guy's are going too far about the WR of hucker...i think he know what he do....he's not at his first experience and im not through

Another thing...a stock engine...is the engine...from pan to valve cover...everything around it are bolt on...you can run a stock engine with bolt ons....

You must have failed at physics if you don't realize what is so very wrong with that statement.
