Wtf

Went to the track first time

60' - 2.3

15.7 at 87 mph

Only a chirp for wheel spin

I was expecting high 14/low 15.

Im thinking:
A. 2.5" exhaust is too big

B. Automatic really kills the car.

Opinions?

Pretty much what you should've ran. B&M Shiftplus might have made up a little time.

Is he a reputable tuner in your area? I've never heard of him before, but then again, there's not a ton of power to open up out of your car either. I ran a best of 15.5 with my 2.4L with just an intake and exhaust. No tune.

Go out and practice launching. Try loading the car some at the line, hold the brake and build the RPM's just a little bit, then floor it and release the brake at the same time. You only have about 1-2 seconds to do this or the ECU will idle your engine because the brake's on.

Is there a setting to disable that? It only lets me rev to 1800 RPM with full brake pressure. I let off slightly and it goes to about 2300 RPM

I also tried the Ebrake at the line. That was a lil tougher cause too much and i would move myself

also yes hes reputable

I don't like the ebrake thing. Most ebrakes aren't going to hold you very well. Those few extra RPM's will help you quite a bit. I don't know if there's a setting unlocked by HPT to disable that or not.

Well LSJ throttle body will be going on shortly. So well cover retuning, shift harder, and look to disable that.
