I was told that all the 07 ss/sc come with stock lsd... Is that true? I just want a quick answer and if not how do you know?

No they do not come stock with the LSD. It is still the G85 option. I know because I had to add the option on when I ordered mine.

Early in the model year the Recaro seats became unavailable and the G85 option became just the LSD. You'll find it on the window sticker as a $795 option vs the earlier $1500 which included the seats too.

Quaife's list price is $995, but I think I've seen it listed for less than that somewhere.

Installing it is more involved than just a clutch job, if you can't do it yourself I'd advise being ready to slap an aftermarket clutch and axles at the same time to save future labor costs...

I saw a price for the Quaife LSD a few months ago of $900. Just did a quick search now and only found $995.
Someone here said that installation was something like $600, and he already had the transaxle out of the car.
There have been a few discussions of the LSD here lately. Try searching on G85 or LSD.

Well most cars do have differential but its not an Limited Slip Differential its actually an open differential! I personally would go with the Quaife
