how do I know if my 07 SS has lsd. I only ask because as far as im aware of the 07's didnt come with recaros or anything it was only for 05-06 im guessing. I have the all black leather interior with heated seats..

so anyone knows how to figure that out? lmk

Did the option list include the G85 package?

 

If you bought the car new and your seats look like this, then you have LSD.. at least that's the only way I know of. Go look up your VIN number and see if it lists it...

 

thats a very good ? lol when i first got the car i didnt know anything about g85 options or nada lol. ill see if i have that paper at the house still i should.

^ lol u didnt read what I said . as far as i was told and found out 07's DID NOT bring recaros what so ever no matter what. so idk by looking at the car which 07s have lsd or not

 

look under the carpet in the the trunk and there will be a list of all the options that you have, 07 did not always come with the recoros but still came with a g85 package

 

Type your VIN into the search, and look for the G85 package.

If it says g85 then yes, but I'm pretty sure they included the recaros in all g85 supercharged models.

My car is an 06 and it doesn't have recaros and I have the g85 package

 

jack up the front, spin one wheel. If the other one moves in the same direction, LSD. If the other one moves in reverse, open diff.

 

Theres a metal tag on the top of the trans, if its says LSD, you guessed it.............

 

I think the early 07's with the g85 package came with the recaros,mine has the g85 without them.
