my 07 is g85 without recaros, one way to find out, take a corner real tight and floor it. If only one wheel spins, you don't have LSD.

Ok so what were getting at is its either a open diff or lsd correct? And if i spin a tire the other should move with it whether it be with it or reverse? What if the other does not move at all?

would it be called something different i canada i dont have a t/c light that comes o and it feels like both tires spin

Same here. I have a 07 lsj leather SS seats and i had my car on stands yesterday and i spin both wheels (one at a time) and the other one did not move at all. LSD or NOt?

The old one wheel wonder way of seeing if you have lsd only applies to rwd cars. fwd will still spin both tires. Hell, my old LT spun both tires, and it sure as hell didn't have an lsd. It should still be called G85 in Canada, as far as I've ever seen. For anybody in this thread wonder where to find if there car has G85, look at the build sheet under the trunk as pictured here

If you look under the hood and look on the right side of the engine to the tranny you will see an LSD stamp on it.. its hard to see but if you look you can see it

With that one VIN lookup site, your car isn't listed as having G85. So you're running an open diff.
