2007 Cobalt ss/sc noise problem.

2007 Cobalt ss/sc noise problem.

Ive been experiencing a weird noise when the cars at idle at random times. It Sounds like a running tractor. I have posted a YouTube video With the problem. Any input on the cause of the problem would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same noise aswell its an 07 SS SC. Im trying to figure out the same thing bump for anybody who knows.

Same here. it does it regardless if the clutch is in Or out

I thought it could be my timing chain tensioner. But now he has me thinking it could be the to, but you would think the noise would be different clutch pedal depressed vs not.

Well this sounds just like my uncles 98 Caviler with 100k miles on stock TOB and clutch, BUT his only does it when he releases the clutch, then it goes away.

Just to follow up I replaced my clutch and the noise is gone it was the tob.
