your going to have to drop the tranny unless our tranny's have the cover in which we can remove and you can work through there. i have the same problem with mine except im lucky mine is 5th. its a common wear and tear problem. how many miles you got?

you're probably shifting WAY too slow, which means you're either putting more stress on your clutch or on your synchros than is necesary. Majority of people don't realize that a proper shift is much faster than they do it. That's why so many people complain about clutch and shifting issues.

HMMM. My car does the same, but only in fifth gear, and randomly. It either grinds into fifth or I have to ease it in. I tried taking it to the dealership, and they can't do anything about it since it happens randomly. Any sudgestions?
