hey guys was scouting around bored and seen that turbotechracing has a 6 speed conversion kit for the SS/SC does anyone have it on here? the reason i ask is i never seen anyone talk about it...if you have it do you like it? is the gear ratio better that the 5 speed?

just wondering is there a gm vechile out there that has a 6speed in it. why i ask is i wonder if we could take the 6speed out of that vechile and put it in our case and have a 6speed for a cheaper price. thats a lot of money to dish out

 

i think the it depends on how much power u wanna be able to push; and ppl buy the 6-speed gear set to beef up there trannies so it can take the extra power so depending on your power goals it is worth the money thats just my 2cents

 

the saab 9-3 with the 2.0l lk9 comes with an f40 6 speed. it has been discussed before, in theory it would work, but nobody has tried it yet. this also isnt that strong of a tranny, iirc itll stand 300ft/lb, not a whole lot more than the f35.
