i can testify.
i just a had a quaife and an eexedy added to my non lsd car.
unreal the difference. cost to intall, will probably run you 1000. about the same as the diff.
you need to buy bearings, new pinion crush sleeve, axle seals, and will need a 12th diff bolt, and a few odds and ends. +i supplied the diff, axles, and exedy, and the dealer stuck ina new bearing/slave; and i told them i wanted B/N flywheel bolts put in and whe whole parts bill was about an additional 550 cdn. a new tranny is 2600 with lsd, and prolly 5-700 to swap it, so decide.....
i didnt ask them about warranty, as i am about to spray, so wtf. actually warranty is a crutch. if you care about warranty, dont bother modding.
i just came back from my dealer, and asked them if i bought a camaro from them, and had them install a blower, and let me tune it, will they warranty it, he said yes.

... ok... bye bye now...
The Tranny Does Have to be removed. Because the LSD resides in it. Duh...

PS. I like the way you try to insult my "**** Mazda" LOL. How many times has your "Bad Ass" car been published in a magazine... should be more than 3 by my count...

wtf is your problem. i was letting him know, that the diff install isnt cut and dry, there is a lot to consider. bud park, is now, Castrol Raceway.

who said stage 3? i dont have slicks, dont know that im going to spend any more on the car.
i am close in mods to what i paid for it to begin with. first runs will be on 245 azenis, then we will see.
and if the car blows up, ill run my ZX-10R.

Oh my... once again the proof of internet retard syndrome at it's finest.
Read as if I was speaking.... I was calling you a "mazda-driver" and referring to your comment of "refrain from speaking on my behalf" as "******* ****".

And I'm sorry to break this to you... but no one gives two ***** if your car was in a magazine... 90% of cars in magazines are part of the 'all-show, no go" crowd anyways....
But if you really must know... actually 3 trucks I have worked on did make it into published articles / magazines.... magazines read by more credible people than the import crowd. (the alternative fuels crowd will back up my statement).

Someone has their panties in a knot...

Chill out dude...
So you were in a magazine... woopty-*******-doo... get over it.
Let's think about it. There are at least 100 names of car mgazines sold.... in each magazine there is at least 10 cars features.... that's 1000 cars per month.
So... I ask you again... do you really think that of the 12000 cars featured in a magazine one year that your car is really all that damn special?
Get over yourself... it's a Protege5, not a Ferrari, Viper or Lambo.....

And for the record again.... those 3 trucks are known internationally.... lets see that from your car...
Anyone can turbo a car... not everyone can go dual fuel H2....

It has nothing to do with that, The point I am trying to make is simple.

I know what I was talking about.
I meant to say exactly what I wanted to .
You were wrong and tried to correct my text with your interpretation of what you felt i was trying to say.
I do not appreciate it, Feel free to correct the internet one post at a time.... Except posts that I type..
It's best if you leave them alone...

Backpedaling much?
You insulted me by making a big deal out of simple interpretation.
This all would have been avoided if you would have acted like half-a-human being instead of a damn internet rat....
Learn some respect for others, then you can bitch about people interpreting your posts.... until then, I say again, quite trolling this forum.

I don't blame you.
Well, there are a few options.
1) You can buy the OBX, and do the fix job on it, then take it somewhere to have it put in
2) Buy a Quaife (I might be able to point you in the direction of a used one). Again, you'd have to take it somewhere to have it put in.
3) Buy a whole G85 tranny, and swap that in.
