Any decent fixes for the f35 roll pin?

I have an f35 manual 5 speed trans, I've had the gear selector shaft's roll pin break on me, and it seems that the rods and stuff that i've tried to fix it with, aren't holding up to the stress when shifting...I have the TWM short shifter kit installed with some aluminum base bushings, and a custom aluminum shift cable mount.

Anyone had issues like this and know a good remedy for fixing it? I've tried alldata and dealers, none of them have a part number for the pin...

I have coiled pins from McMaster-Carr. 1"-3/16 or something like that is the size?
Also, get in contact with Powell Race Shop about their race hardened pins.

they don't have the 1-3/16 coiled pins, but they have 1-3/8" and 1-3/4"...

Thought about getting the 1-3/8" and getting the extra strength ons that are a little thicker...unless the OEM pin was metric?

lmfao yeah right after it broke I fixed it with some random metal rod that I found in the infamous junk drawer...never fails for temp fixes! fit in great, just not strong enough to last, and it's all about getting that pin in 100% perfect with no wiggle room, I'll feel every bit in the shifter

PN# 95765A417 on their website.

That's what I have and use. 4500# breaking strength, pack of 10.

It's an f35 5-speed in a Saab 9-3, I know the ss/sc use the same exact trans, not sure about the newer ones. I actually just ordered some from MMC, i'll follow up with you if i need some, thanks for the offer.

to my experience the mmc ones dont stand up; the tightly coiled ones break. The saabistes call it an F55 or something. I never heard of them breaking roll pins but it stands to reason... good luck with it, sub'd for your results.
