I've got the G85 with both the Recaros and the LSD and I haven't snapped mine as of yet. I have pushed her fairly hard as well...Eh, could be luck of the draw too

The click could be from the car being lowered as well. That causes a pretty decent amount of wear and tear on the suspension and all

I highly doubt the best LSD on the market "sucks"......it's usually on the driver not really knowing when to back out of it to save an axel or as someone else said, just pushing the axels to the absolute limit.

Nah, the click is common. I have it too, I fear it to be a bad CV joint. I've had it since the car was practically new but the dealer refused to fix under warranty.

I have not broken my axles after 20 or so passes at the track with some pretty hard launches. If I start wheel hopping I get out of it immediately. All my passes in the Cobalt are at Gateway which is pretty slick compared to other tracks I've been at so that might help.

i believe the driveshaft shop axles are rated to 400+ ftlbs of torque.

Broke 3 in total. 2 on stock tires, and one on a set or DRs. 2 of them were driver's side.

And they can barely handle wheelhop any more than the stock ones.

had around 25 runs at the track this past saturday, i ran it real hard. Had some insane wheel hop on 2 runs but i let off when it happened and limped my way down the track. Glad they didn't go out on me, that would suck horribly.

k.. true.. but with the g85 lsd... no matter what... when 1 wheel spins... the other HAS to... hence why people with g85 get redic. amount of wheel hop... and then by the time you back out of it.. you either perfectly fine.. or by by shaft
