Anyone here have the spec stage 4 clutch? Spec is trying to tell me that the clutch will only work with there flywheel which happens to be over $400. I think the guy is full of ****, any input on this?

Spec offers two line for our cars. one kit is used with there flywheel only pt# SC074-2
and the other you can use with the factory flywheel. pt # SC074. Hope this helps. Before you buy, How much are they asking for the stage 4??

 

holy jesus! Why in gods name would you need a stage 4 clutch!?!?! I once drove my friends EG Civic hatch (all motor, individual tb's......nasty) with a Clutch Master's stage 3 clutch......man what a hard pedal! Wouldn't you think stage 4 would be overkill? Stage 3's are on the verge of being a race-only clutch, and i've read that stage 4-stage 5's are intended to be race-only clutches, as they are tricky on the streets/in traffic. Plus, stage 3's are good until like 400hp.
