auto 2.2 ion hard shifting need help

my girlfriend just got her car back from sears where they did an oil change. about five hours later the check engine light came on. Onstar said it was the transmission control system. Ive been reading about the topic a little bit. Most people seem to say that to much oil could have gone on the mass air flow sensor . Any help would be awesome.thanks

and a MAF issue is possible...though idk how crank case oil is getting on to your MAF..
