automatic to manual....2.2L sedan
i want to switch out my automatic tranny and make my balt manual.....how exactly would i go about doing that....would help if you gave specific steps lol thanks

pretty well, at least not without a ton of cash. you need to swap the wiring harness and all computers in the car, they all must have the matching vin number in them or the car will not start. if that didnt scare ya, you now need to rip the dash out to put the clutch pedal in, need the shifter, cables, tranny, mounts, clutch, flywheel, axles. if you are doing it yourself, id say do-able for under $5000, at a shop, dont even want to guess.

He'd basically have to buy a manual transmission car and swap EVERYTHING
