If you are thinking about getting this or have already gotten it I would suggest getting the automatic mount bushings that TTR just came out with. I had the kit installed for around 8 months and my stock bushings started to wear out and cause slow shifting and the trans to move a lot when stopping causing it to rattle. TTR was nice enough to help my out by allowing me to test these for them and I can not say enough about them and for the price they are worth every penny and 1/2 the price of their competitors

ok i just got the shift plus, now what about the hook ups? would it be better hardwire connectors to the tranny wires so i can remove the shift plus for warranty service. any suggestions on some type of quick connect/remove set up would be cool.

it should come with a quick connect kind of attachment. There's a how-to on the installation as well

hello i installed the shift plus this past weekend. i know i hooked it up correct. i'm just wondering if the transmission is supposed to clunk or clank in to gear on stage one, when i have it in stage two it clanks in to gear even harder just putting it into drive. my car dosent even have 3000 miles on it yet, and i did notice before i installed the unit that there was a small barely noticable sound when i pit it into drive. other than that the unit gives great firm shifts its only when putting it into drive. does anyone think i may have a defective trans?

it is supposed to do that.. your line preasue in your tranny is alot higher now so it will kick into gear harder.. from park to drive it it noticeable and from 1st to 2nd then after that you dont realize it much.. it's annoying but it wont mess up your car at all,

ya i got like 1300 miles on the car i'd hate to toast the tranny. the sound is really brutal if i have it on stage 2 sounds nasty. i noticed it last night, and i was seriously thinking of un-installing it and taking it to the dealer for a check up. so the metal clunking sound is ok then.....would installing the poly trans mounts help this out?

Yes it reversible just put it in and if u dont like it just take it out....it takes like 5 mins to put it in....10 mins tops. just go ahead and get you should like it.....real easy!!!!

the kit comes with its own quick connect splices so theres no soldering or cutting....almost just like plug and play!!!!

I thought the really hard clunking only happens while the Shiftplus is on, if you turn it off before you stop the car when you restart is should be as normal right?

right...before you put the key in the ignition, you need to have it turned off because it wont be able to lower settings once the car is on

after a few weeks of my shifplus just sitting there....i finally put it in today....I LOVE IT!!! i can really feel and see the difference especially at night when my headlights are on...you can really see and feel it....WOW.....i should have done it earlier........wires werent makin contact at first....but after looking and inspecting the contacts.....i got it to work perfectly by adding a lil nick to the wires on the shiftplus since they are smaller than the ones on the transmission....oh and the "how to" really helped....thank you
