I have an 06 cobalt LS coupe.
Where is the PCM connector under the hood.. i can't seem to locate it and my car looks a little different under the hood then the picture. It's definatly a 2.2 though.

If you have an automatic....the tranny connector is 4" right of, and slightly lower than, the engine oil filter housing. It might be hidden by a large wire loom over it.

FYI Scott just shipped his newest stock of B&Ms, so if you have ordered one, expect it soon!

He still has a few in stock so, if you want one order it soon!

Thanks hack! Yes we did ship a bunch out. I also hosted the installation instructions that you had made. Here is the link. If there is any additional info that needs to go on it let me know.

With a auto 2.4L, would I benefit more from an HP tune?
cuz that's what I was looking at honestly.
This looks cool too. I just don't like the idea of me splicing and tapping when I'd get better results from someone with a computer.

This is kind of off topic and I did a quick search and I didn't find anything, but has anyone ever installed a Transmission cooler on the cobalt? Maybe I missed something in my search?

i am worried about during the winter (since in LI we have yet to see any snow yet) that with the autotrans i will loose alot of traction so i am turning it on it's lowest setting. Since last night i was driving home and the ground was a little wet and while getting on the LIE once my car hit 2nd i was spinning my tires and felt the car slipping.. but then after it gained traction it was like a shot out of a gun it took off like all hell

I was wondering if the ShiftPlus would work on a 2007 LS? Also, Hack... how's your transmission holding up? Any problems?

reguarding the cars it works with....should work with all 4t45e trannies

however, i have a question...would the b&m shift kit put more or less stress on the tranny? i would think more, as its being worked harder, but i recall that the transmission works harder to provide smooth shifting than a rapid shift....

basically, im going to be going turbo ones garrets alpha kit is out, and will already be pushing my tranny to its limits, and i want to know if the b&m can put it over the edge, or actually help the tranny last longer

the stock tranny can hold much more power than you can put out easily without forced induction right now. close to double the power no problem. as far as with the turbo, not really sure. guess it depends how much it puts out. at that point, i'm not sure if the B&M would hurt or help. someone with more experience should be able to help you out with that, like NJHK he's pretty familiar with the turbo ecotecs, probably as much or more than anyone on the site. all the B&M does is increase the line pressure, so i don't think it will be a problem. i do remember someone saying that people have had them running on cavaliers for a long time with no problems, same tranny.
