lol...the whoosh sound isnt belt slip or tires slipping or your TB, its the line pressure from the solenoids being relieved. stgII increases line pressure, and flooring it increases line pressure as well (putting it in L will increase the line pressure even more still), and once the transmission shifts, all that pressure is released so fast its makes a sound similar to a BOV
Put my Shift Plus on yesterday and i **** when i turned it on and put it in drive lol. But its way easier to do than what i made it out to be. Took it out for a few quick runs got it to chirp a few time but its a nice easy mod to do.

yeah i dont have the shift plus but i get that belt slipping sound too. It only happens when shifting from first to second at the redline. Its like a tiny squeak sound. I'm not sure if i should worry about this or if its just a characteristic for the transmission to slip.
I have had mine on for a week and its the easiest mod you can do. I Dont drive with it on all the time only every once in awhile. Yeah what mrsilent13 said dont ignore it if something is not acting right i would drive without it and see if it acts up without it. But overall its a good part to have and i have not had any problems with it.
i dont know about ur belts....but my belt has never slipped and i cruise all the time on stage 1 sometimes stage 2.....yea i just changed my fluid not to long ago and the shift really improved....i changed it out at about 36000 im now at around 39000 almost....ive had mine installed for a few months now and i think since december....ive taken it off a few times and each time i do it just gets simpler to install each time....lol....its like a 5 min install and to un install its like a few seconds.....so easy a caveman can do it!!!
