B&M Shiftplus Questions
Hey, Im looking into buying a B&M shiftplus kit. I heard they can do a lot of sweet things and make our autos much harder shifts. Has anybody here with a 2.4L tried or are currently using the B&M Shift+ that can give me some feedback on the Pros and Cons, and how well they like it. What exactly does it do that makes it so sweet?
Also, where can i buy one for my '07 ss?
Comeon somebody give me some feedback...

im a 07 2.2 with a shiftplus
pros: excellent shifts..way better than stock, chirps tires from 1-2 , and its just a little funner to drive with
cons: when on setting II you get a lurch shifting from P to D, sometimes in and out of reverse
overall..get it from turbotechracing.com

this isnt a safe product for your transmission...
this product is designed for cars that are pushing alot more Hp than stock transmission was setup to handle. For transmissions that are slipping due to the extreme HP.
THIS WONT MAKE YOUR CAR FASTER! It doesnt increase the time it takes to shift the transmission, it just makes it shift harder. Take this analgy, when normally walking around, your feet hit the ground at a comfortable force that causes you no pain or damage. Now try walking around stepping on the ground as hard as you can with every step. Your not going any faster all your doing is causing pain and damage to your feet, legs, back. Its the same thing.

in all honestly, i kno for a fact that the use of this everyday for the past year has worn down my tranny, u can feel it when u turn it off, its not like it was stock, i just keep it on all the time. its time for a syntetic tranny flud swap.

The way this product works is it causes your trans fluid pump to work at either 50% or 100%. Now yes the pump was designed to work at those rates, but when you turn this on, its constantly at those rates. It can very easily burn out your trans pump and just destroy your trans. The way your trans normally works is right before its supposed to shift it ups the line pressure with the pump to allow the shifts to be normal, then quickly goes back down. With this kit its constantly running at 50% or 100%.
Like said before by someone, after using this for a while stock doesnt feel right anymore. I had one on my last car a 2001 Cavalier Z24 Supercharged. After about a year of use, if i turned it off the trans would slip so bad i would have to let off the gas in order for it to shift.
And again, THIS DOESNT MAKE YOUR CAR FASTER!!!!!!!
